ARTS STRATEGIES + CULTURAL PLANNING

Cultural planning is an inclusive process of community engagement, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative decision-making that helps local governments identify, develop, and invest in their arts and cultural resources using a place-based approach. It positions cultural development at a strategic level, supporting both city and community goals.

Our approach prioritizes engagement that begins with building relationships, trust, and empathy. We focus on practical, actionable conversations that lead to plans rooted in local context and identity. The strategies we recommend reflect the lived experiences, needs, and values of the communities we serve.

Cultural planning is both a field of study and an evolving practice. We bring insights and learnings from communities and cultural policy leaders around the world to help shape solutions tailored to each place.
