Talk with the Town: Communications Plan

The Town of Qualicum Beach reached out to Patricia to create a communications plan that encourages open dialogue and participation, while helping the Town optimize communications with residents, staff and key stakeholders. Building on an initial communications audit, Patricia recognized that effective external communications begin with good internal practices. Collaborating with the Town staff to create an internal communications strategy, Patricia worked extensively with the community to generate recommendations for community engagement and consultation.

Vancouver Island Symphony: Economic Impact Assessment

To explore the economic contribution of the Vancouver Island Symphony to the region, and to highlight any effects the global economic recession may have had on patron participation, Patricia was engaged to design and implement an Economic Impact Assessment and to conduct a perception audit with key stakeholders. The outcomes of this assessment helped guide the board’s decision-making for the 2011-12 season, and continues to impact the organization today. Patricia also led a key message development and branding session with the Symphony, and continues to advise on and develop their marketing and communications materials.
